Priswati Chakma
Publicis ReSources

SUPPORTING STATEMENT:

I wish to nominate Priswati Chakma for this award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Global Mobility function and her demonstrated leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence. Priswati has grown into a seasoned Global Mobility professional and currently leads a team of six, overseeing a broad spectrum of responsibilities—including immigration, assignment management, benefits administration, pre-assignment briefings, document and data management, and overall duty of care for hundreds of international assignees.

One of her most recent notable achievements was navigating the particularly challenging U.S. immigration landscape in 2025. Under her guidance, the team made several programmatic enhancements—implementing small but impactful tweaks that improved outcomes and were widely appreciated by both assignees and business stakeholders. It's worth highlighting that the majority of these complex immigration filings were managed in-house by her team under her leadership. She supports a diverse population of assignees working under multiple assignment policies, each with varying benefit structures and tax implications. Despite this complexity, she ensures a consistently positive assignee experience, while upholding compliance with local laws, internal policies, and business practices. In addition to operational excellence, she has played a key role in strengthening the program's foundation by leading efforts to review and maintain a comprehensive library of both internal reference and client-facing process documents. This initiative has significantly enhanced clarity for team members and improved the overall assignee experience.

She is highly respected and admired by her team for her dedication, mentorship, and passion for helping others. Feedback from stakeholders has consistently been positive, and she has cultivated a strong rapport across levels—making it seamless to roll out new initiatives or process changes through her team. She has also effectively managed high-demand stakeholders, navigating their expectations with professionalism and transparency. When tasked with deploying talent to new locations with complex immigration requirements and tight timelines, she rose to the occasion—mastering new regulatory frameworks, engaging with stakeholders confidently, and ensuring all deployments were completed within the targeted timelines.

Over time, she has also honed her people management skills, an essential trait for future leadership roles. Her ability to lead through ambiguity, deliver results across diverse portfolios, and bring out the best in her team make her an ideal candidate for this recognition.
