Global People Mobility Director for APAC

Jea Bocaling has been with P&G for 20 years and currently the Global People Mobility Director for APAC, Greater China, India/Middle East and Africa Region. She has managed P&G Global Expatriate Payroll, Global Expat Tax Compliance Organization, Expat Financial Services such (Billings and Accounting), and Relocation Operations of P&G. Jea’s been involved in P&Gs journey to “modernize” our International Assignment Policy, implement a new technology for Relocation Eco-System, and reviewing and overhauling P&Gs Global People Mobility Delivery Organization.

Associate Director, Global Mobility

Karolina started her Mobility career at SAP where she was an expert on the EMEA region for 10 years. At Novartis, Karolina leads Mobility Team dealing with both temporary and permanent relocations to APAC and Middle East countries including key markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, China and India.

Karolina is passionate about Global Mobility world in a way how it is changing on a daily basis and working in such department will never bring a stereotype. She is also grateful that working in Global Mobility enabled her to develop in many interesting areas like immigration, tax, social security. She is proud of her employer (Novartis) being able to react quickly to the new trends and putting the development of the associates on top of the priority list.

Director of Global Account Management

Arabelle started her career in the accounting industry with her last position with Ernst & Young in Expatriate Tax, with experience in Singapore and US Individual Tax return. This had provided Arabelle with a strong compensation and benefit foundation and contributes to an effective policy management. Arabelle moved to the Relocation industry in 2004 and had held various positions in operational and management role. She had managed clients in technology, automobile and oil and gas industry, one of which had fully outsourced its relocation management function. As Director of Global Account Management has the overall global client relationship responsibility of a tri-regional account, ensuring global consistency delivery of the client relocation program. She also hold the regional role of client management and operation delivery. Arabelle is an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts, UK. She graduated from the Oxford Brookes University, UK, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting.

Charles Hamilton Ferguson is the general manager of Globalization Partners (GP) business in Asia. In this capacity, he is responsible for establishing scale and efficiency for GP’s and their clients business expansion in one of the most dynamic markets in the world. Globalization Partners flattens barriers to global business by making it easy for companies to hire employees anywhere in the world within a few business days. The company delivers these capabilities through its Global Expansion Platform™, which allows companies to hire employees throughout the world without having to navigate complex international legal, tax, and HR issues. Beginning in 2020, as an acknowledgement of his impact in the HR technology space, Charles was appointed as a start-up advisor and mentor for the Workplace Accelerator, which helps to discover and incubate the future of HR technology from Asia and beyond, and joined Advent International, the private equity firm with over $54B USD in AUM, as an industry advisor for Asia Pacific.

Charles was most recently group chief commercial officer for Tricor Group, a leading business expansion specialist in Asia, with global knowledge and local expertise in business, corporate, investor, human resources & payroll, and corporate trust & debt services. With a vast network of senior executives across Asia, status in the market as a cloud computing expert, and reputation as a trusted advisor amongst his peers, Charles was responsible for designing and executing the global sales, marketing, and product innovation strategy for the Group. Prior this role, Charles was president and general manager for the Asia Pacific region at ADP, LLC, where he brought his experience and technology passion to the fore as the driver for delivering ADP’s employee engagement and human capital management (HCM) solutions to firms of every size in Asia. Charles moved to this role from his previous positions as division vice president of Asia Pacific, and vice president of multi-national corporation sales and marketing, leading these efforts across Asia.

Before joining ADP, Charles co-founded the management consulting and advisory services firm ReedHamilton, where he led the technology and innovation practice. ReedHamilton had a team of consulting associates and offices in Singapore and Hong Kong serving firms across virtually every industry, providing guidance ranging from talent acquisition to go-to-market strategy. Prior to co-founding ReedHamilton, Charles was regional vice president for SAP on demand, cloud services, and outsourcing, Asia Pacific and Japan. In this capacity, he was responsible for helping design, deploy, and general manage SAP’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) business and cloud computing evangelism for the region. Previous to this role he led SAP’s Southeast Asia and emerging markets and technologies marketing organization. In the early days of SaaS in Asia, he joined salesforce.com as the North Asia regional director where he built and led the team in new market penetration efforts for Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, PR China, and Taiwan ROC. Previous to SAP and salesforce.com, he held senior sales, consulting, and services roles at Microsoft Asia headquarters and Intel’s supercomputer and enterprise platform group.

In addition to his corporate career, Charles has had several other successes as an entrepreneur. He founded and managed the jazz club and bistro “Number Five” on the Bund in Shanghai, PRC which spanned a decade of service. Charles also founded several startups that burned brightly and failed gloriously, providing invaluable lessons on life and business. He speaks often on the topics of entrepreneurism and technology across the region. Charles is accredited with an EMP in international management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the National University of Singapore, holds a master’s degree in innovation management from the Helsinki School of Economics at Aalto University, and did his undergraduate studies at Bard College in the United States. He sits on the advisory boards for several firms serving the HR, cloud computing, and consulting industries and volunteers in his community as a Grass Roots Leader focused on new immigrant integration and new media advocacy.

Shumin graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor Degree in Computing. Since joining Micron, she was given several opportunities to fulfil roles with increasing responsibility within the People organization. Shumin is the Steering Committee for the Micron Women’s Leadership Network’s (MWLN) and their purpose is to build a platform to enable and empower women at Micron to bring our best selves to work.
