Barbara Lam has been in the global mobility industry for more than 17 years. Barbara started her early mobility career with Procter & Gamble in Hong Kong then took an international assignment in Manila working on the regional expatriate payroll migration projects, re-engineering work processes, and training new team members. Taking all of this in-depth knowledge and expertise in expatriate compensation in Asia, she set up a regional team providing expatriate payroll services to the Procter & Gamble account for the EMEA region with IBM UK. Barbara is currently the regional manager at Avery Dennison overseeing the global mobility program for the Asia Pacific region and is involved with global mobility policy design, process review, and deploying new mobility initiatives.
