When you enter you will be required to register yourself, upon doing so, you will receive an email. Once you've received this please click the Activate link in the email to confirm the set up. You will then be able to complete your entry. All entries to the awards are free of charge. You can return at any point using your login credentials to manage your account and modify your entry until the closing date. To enter the awards please complete an entry form on the website filling out all relevant fields and uploading your PDF submission for each category. PDF submissions should be approximately 1600 words fulfilling the category criteria – entries that do not comply will be marked down or rejected.

Corporate Awards 

These awards are open to all Global Mobility and HR professionals who manage overseas assignments within their own organization or company and can only be entered by a corporate professional or by a service provider on behalf of the corporate, with their permission.

Awarded to the Global Mobility program that has improved the experience of its assignees through its policies, benefits or career development and by going above and beyond the standard levels of duty of care.

Service Provider Awards 

These awards are open to organizations and companies that provide services to Global Mobility and HR professionals and their companies (for example, relocation management services, immigration or tax advice, removals, technology solutions, corporate housing, cultural training etc.).

Awarded to the expatriate banking, tax or financial services provider that has demonstrated best in class within any of these sectors.

• Evidence of excellence in providing personal banking or tax provision for expatriates and compliance with all appropriate regulations and secure systems

• Demonstrated excellence in providing financial management for organizations (may include delivering mobility tax and social security planning, country set-up, or establishment of new entities, compliance and support, wealth management, financial wellbeing planning advice for employees, payroll solutions, pension administration and services, multiple currency handling etc.)

Awarded to the corporate housing provider, large or small, that has demonstrated best in class corporate housing support for their clients and their internal assignee population in the last year. This includes long-term and short-term lettings.

Awarded to the Relocation Management Company that has demonstrated the provision of best in class relocation support service provided to their clients and their internal assignee population in the past year.

To clarify, RMCs provide end to end relocation services that would normally include immigration, tax, and compensation services and may include policy design, compensation, payroll, removals (though some services may be provided through third-parties)

This can include spousal support, education consulting, healthcare providers, pension providers, benefit administration, cultural training, language training, employment counselling, social networking, international schools, pet relocation and other solutions.

Awarded to the corporate and provider relationships that demonstrate the best delivery of service to the assignee and the business in order to support the organization strategy. Entries should clearly demonstrate the relationship between the corporate client and the service provider and may be submitted by the corporate or provider side, but both parties must be named and give their full permission for the entry.

Entries should clearly demonstrate the relationship between the two suppliers, but most importantly, the impact of their combined offerings. Entries may be submitted by either company in the partnership, but both parties must be named and give their full permission for the entry.

Awarded to the organization that has produced the leading, most relevant, innovative or comprehensive research on a topic within global mobility.

Individual Awards 

This award is open to individuals from either a service provider or Corporate HR background who have worked in excess of five years in the Global Mobility industry. The judges will be looking for evidence of a significant, consistent record of achievement with regard to such features as quality of service delivery, innovation, knowledge, excellent customer service and overall professional reputation. Winners in this category are those likely to be considered for the Outstanding Contribution Award in future years.

Outstanding Contribution to Global Mobility 2020

This award is in the gift of FEM and will be announced at the EMMAs ceremony

Global Mobility Talent of Tomorrow

This is a brand-new initiative, designed to encourage managers to identify, motivate and reward new global mobility talent among those at the start of their GM careers

• We will accept nominations for anyone who has a minimum of three years’ experience in Global Mobility.

• Candidates may be nominated by their manager – or can nominate themselves

• Entries should be no more than 250 words and no less than 100 words.

• Submissions may include testimonials, references and press coverage to support their submission

• All entries are to be emailed to Helena Barrow for consideration by the FEM Director of Content and the EMMAs judging panel and those successful will be inducted during the EMMAs Ceremony
